Karmapa Public Course 2023

Dear Dharma friends,

We are very pleased to announce that after three years of Corona-related break the Karmapa Public Course will finally take place again between 3 and 10 March 2023 at the Karmapa International Buddhist Institute.

Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, will continue his commentary on the 6th chapter of Shantideva’s Bodhisattvacharyavatara (A Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life), which explores the topic of the Paramita of patience. Karmapa will also transmit two empowerments over the course of these eight days.

In addition to the teachings and empowerments transmitted by Karmapa, the programme will feature several other eminent teachers, who will be sharing their profound and vast knowledge and understanding of the Buddha Dharma, including His Eminence Venerable Jigme Rinpoche, Khenpo Chodrak Tenphel Rinpoche and Lama Jampa Thaye.
